How can chiropractic care and counseling, dental care, and basic technical training help with pain and addiction?

Our approach uses chiropractic care and counseling to treat pain. We offer dental care to those who need it, because pain, anxiety and using substances can lead to grinding and other oral health problems. Addiction is a disease that doesn’t just effect health and wellbeing, it can also be financially draining. To help improve job hunting skills, and to make our patients productive members of society, we offer dental-assisting training, chiropractic-assisting training as well as basic technical/computer skills training.

We are a group that is passionate about helping people who suffer from pain and addiction. Our goal is to be able to provide alternative ways to fight pain and addiction. We follow evidence-based practices. We are here to help.

We do not judge.

We understand that pain and addiction are very complex, and they can be very hard to handle alone. We also understand that both pain and addiction can have not just physical, but emotional, psychological, and social consequences as well. We are here to offer the best chiropractic, psychological, and dental help. Not only is it important to deal with the pain of addiction and the disease itself, but it is also important to focus on what happens after someone gets clean. There are bills to pay and financial responsibilities that need to be met. If you don’t have a job or if you feel like you are lacking in skills to make you successful in the workforce, we will provide basic computer training, dental-assisting, and chiropractic-assisting classes.

We are here to serve a population that has long been neglected. Our hope is that the people we help, will get better and in-turn help other people get better.

We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces

Imagine a world where we are not powerless over pain and addiction. A world where we have different options available to work through our pain. Where options exist to break free from pain. A world where you not told to “deal with it”. Instead, a world where we are listened to, given options for treatment of that pain, given help to get the treatment we need.

Would we still choose to live in pain? Would we still choose to live with the consequences of taking addictive medications and substances? Or would we take a chance at a 2^nd chance at life to see what is on the other side of pain and addiction. Could it be a manageable type of pain? Could it be a life that doesn’t require us to constantly be on a chemical of some kind? Could we actually have a shot at being okay? We won’t know until we try.

That is what we off here at 2^nd Chances, a chance that maybe things will be okay. Our unique approach has never been tried anywhere else in the world. If you have tried everything else and it hasn’t worked, then you have nothing to lose but everything to gain by getting in touch with us.
